Steve Randerson, MSc (Hons) Applied Psychology
Steve Randerson has been a research officer at SHORE & Whariki since 2011. He has research and evaluation expertise on alcohol policy, health promotion and community action to reduce harm from alcohol and other drugs. His research has focused on the alcohol licensing system and alcohol policy development, and he has been invited to present to national health and licensing networks. He has published journal articles and presented to international conferences. Steve has also provided national coordination and training to the Community Action on Youth and Drugs programme at SHORE & Whariki, funded by the Ministry of Health, and experience coordinating family and community services with the Ministry of Social Development. Steve has a background in organisational psychology and human resources consultancy experience in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
